Sparks Concrete LLC is looking for a skilled Asphalt Paving Operator to join our growing team in Bunnell, FL! Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt paving machines and related equipment on commercial and residential job sites
- Lay and spread asphalt mixtures to specified grades and dimensions
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on paving equipment
- Work alongside crew members to ensure smooth, efficient paving operations
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site
- Coordinate with site supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Assist with site preparation, including grading and base compaction as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating asphalt pavers, rollers, or related heavy equipment
- Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and best practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license; CDL a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious work ethic
